Music business veteran Randy Wachtler of 615 Music hosted a gala on May 14, 2008 to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as part of his campaign for Nashville's Man & Woman of the Year 2008.
Nashville singer-songwriters Phil Vassar, Lee Roy Parnell, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, and Dave Berg performed at the intimate event at Wachtler's home. Guests included many of Wachtler's music industry friends, Titans coach Jeff Fisher and NFL star Neil O'Donnell.

According to MediaBistro.com, "The Daytime Emmy Nominations, announced today, included Today's nom for 'Outstanding Original Song.' Randy Wachtler and Greg Barnhill of 615 Music and Frank Radice of NBC are credited as composers/lyricists.
